Mantova Supports Environmental Education Space on Plastics
Mantova is one of the supporters of a new initiative by the Union of Plastic Material Industries of Northeast Rio Grande do Sul (Simplás), which has inaugurated the space "Somos o Amanhã – Sérgio I. Webber" in Caxias do Sul. More than a tribute to one of the founding members of the union, the venue serves as an important hub for raising awareness about the responsible use of plastics and the benefits of the circular economy.
Installed at the headquarters of the Chamber of Industry, Commerce and Services (CIC), the space is designed to showcase how plastics are present in our daily lives and how they can contribute to sustainability when used and disposed of properly.
Mantova not only supports the initiative but also takes an active role: the company contributed to the setup of the infrastructure and is exhibiting products in the space alongside other industry players.
“We believe that environmental education is the most effective way to shift perceptions and build a more responsible future. Being part of this project reinforces our commitment to sustainable innovation and to our community” says Mantova’s Director, Afonso Vicenzi.
The inauguration of the space is directly aligned with World Environment Day, celebrated on June 5. For Mantova, this date goes beyond symbolism: it is a call for the industry to embrace increasingly conscious practices and a stronger commitment to environmental preservation.
With production processes grounded in strict standards of quality, safety, and sustainability, Mantova is committed to environmental responsibility at every stage of its operations.
We believe the future is built through knowledge, accountability, and action. Initiatives like this show that it is possible to do things differently—and better.
