Mantova was present at Plastimagem 2022, one of the most representative fairs in Latin America

Considered one of the most representative fairs in Latin America, Plastimagem 2022, headquartered at the Banamex Center in Mexico City, took place from March 8 to 11, bringing together visitors and professionals from various sectors, from packaging and household items to machinery and equipment in the South, Central and North American markets. Mantova Indústria de Tubos Plásticos made its debut at the event, which presented a wide range of industries, such as the chemical and plastics, automotive and pharmaceutical sectors, as well as tools, accessories, and equipment in general. “It offered great innovations to the sectors of machinery and equipment, raw materials, transformation of plastics and products. For Mantova it is an excellent opportunity to strengthen ties with customers and suppliers, allowing us to increase our share in the Mexican market”, says commercial manager Mauro Baronio.

With the advent of the pandemic - and respecting preventive safety measures - the company from Caxias do Sul suspended national and international travel and presence at fairs. The change in scenario allowed the participation of the commercial manager, who visited Plastimagem, attended lectures and workshops. Baronio's stay lasted until March 16, giving him the opportunity to learn about and assess the main trends in order to improve the products and processes used by Mantova. With worldwide scope, and held every two years, Plastimagem provides the most modern solutions for the industrial sector. “Our assessment was very optimistic, not only because of the visit to the fair, but also regarding the technical trip to Mexico, when it was possible to strengthen business partnerships and meet with local authorities in order to study market possibilities in that country”, highlights Baronio.
