Anti-spatter Tubing

Colors

Applications

The anti-spatter tubes can be used in the automation and automotive industry, pneumatic systems, welding stations, automotive painting systems, cutting and grinding devices, robotics, lubrication lines, fuel and oil conduction. They are indicated for aggressive environments, where the cap offers additional protection (sacrifice layer) to the main tube.

Important: for correct operation, remove the PVC cover at the ends for mounting the fittings on the pipe, as the installation on the PVC cover may cause leaks and even a possible rupture of the pipe.

Features

The anti-spatter tubes have an internal layer of flexible polyamide (working tube) covered with a Flame-Retardant Resin (equivalent to V-0), the spatter tube is ideal for piping welding machinery. It has excellent resistance to incandescent projections such as sparks and welding spatter, being in compliance with UL 94 class V0, ensuring an efficient solution for applications that require resistance to external aggressions. This outer layer offers insulating properties, resisting oils, greases, aqueous solutions, ozone, heat and ultraviolet light.

Composition: polyamide tube in blue color, covered with flame-retardant resin (nonflammable PVC).

Key Properties

  • Excellent resistance to incandescent projections
  • Flammability according to UL 94 V0 (outer layer)
  • High resistance to abrasion and wear
  • Good flexibility over a wide temperature range
  • Low moisture absorption
  • Exceptional radius of curvature
  • Great damping capacity
  • High mechanical resistance
  • Low weight compared to metal tubes
