Key Applications
Translucent polyurethane tubing can be used in a variety of application environments, mainly in low pressure pneumatic and hydraulic systems, robotics, industrial automation, distribution panels and dosers. In addition, they are suitable for mounting on nozzles, connections and spikes where reduced bend radius are required. They are not recommended for automotive safety applications (eg air brake), nor for drinking water.
Features
The translucent thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) tubing can be colored without losing transparency (crystallinity), which facilitates the control and monitoring of what goes through the tube. The transparency of the tube allows the analysis of the fluid flow, with the possibility of observing obstructions and the presence or not of contamination. They are available in six colors, facilitating the identification of the circuit. They are generally the best option for applications that require high flexibility and a small bend radius, where there is a need for solutions for bending/twisting in reduced diameter. They have properties that allow applications in low temperature areas and where high and continuous flexibility is essential. They must be protected from direct sunlight.
