Mantova Recognized for Its Contribution to Rio Grande do Sul’s Industry at the 53rd Export Award RS
With over three decades of history built on industrial excellence, continuous innovation, and international expansion, Mantova Indústria de Tubos Plásticos has been recognized as the winner in the “Industry Sector” category at the 53rd edition of the Export Award RS. The award ceremony took place on Thursday (14) at Casa NTX, in Porto Alegre.
Considered one of the most prestigious recognitions in the state’s export sector, the Export Award RS honors companies that make a strategic contribution to the economic development of Rio Grande do Sul through international trade. The winners were announced on June 26.
“Receiving this recognition is a milestone that reinforces our commitment to industrial excellence and global competitiveness. Exporting is, above all, about expanding borders, creating value, and projecting what we produce with excellence onto the international stage,” says Uriel Thomassoni, Mantova’s Commercial Manager.
International Expansion and Consolidation in the Americas
Mantova has been strengthening its footprint across the Americas through a robust internationalization strategy. In 2022, the company invested R$ 15 million to establish its first manufacturing facility outside Brazil, located in Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico. Since then, it has expanded its operations, exporting to more than ten countries, with a strong presence in Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay. In 2024, exports accounted for more than 15% of the company’s total revenue.
Focusing on market expansion and the adoption of international quality standards, the company’s strategic plan is oriented toward broadening its export portfolio and strengthening global partnerships.
“In line with our institutional positioning, we remain committed to consolidating Mantova as a benchmark in high-performance technical plastic tubing. Our next steps include diversifying our export portfolio, reinforcing strategic alliances, and penetrating priority markets across the Americas. We do this by delivering solutions that consistently generate results while respecting the culture, needs, and expectations of each market in which we operate,” adds Samuel Dambros, Mantova’s Administrative and Financial Director.
The company consistently invests in digital transformation, continuous product innovation, and structural initiatives that reinforce its premium value proposition. This proposition is built on solid pillars, guided by balance—offering reliable and competitive solutions—and respect—recognizing and valuing the unique characteristics of each market where it operates.
